The CLASH Project, edition 2018
What would happen if artists/designers whose background isn’t fashion do fashion? It’s refreshing and trendsetting, like The CLASH Project last weekend in Maastricht, The Netherlands
FASHIONCLASH festival first kicked off in 2009, CLASH Project invites ten artists and designers per year to translate their work into wearable catwalk pieces.
The participants from art and design disciplines are challenged to step out of their artistic comfort zone. All of these ten participants are professionals in various disciplines except fashion.

The CLASH has become an iconic project, forming one of the highlights of the FASHIONCLASH Festival, it’s always stimulating, unexpected, out-of-the-box work.
This year FASHIONCLASH also celebrates the 10th edition of the CLASH Project; 100 CLASH outfits have been created since the first edition in 2009.
