Schepperheyn, the Berlin-based unisex slow fashion brand, has since 2015 been designing high-quality, sustainable clothes with a focus on unique materials and a reinterpretation of classical silhouettes.
This season’s collection pulls together the urban and the rural, using collages of smart-phone photography spanning Berlin and locations abroad. Additionally a playful logo print completes the collection.
The pieces continue to spread genderless vibes by presenting a number of straight-forward styles, merging tailoring with work- and streetwear. Once again only premium sustainable fabrics have been used like organic cottons, silks, denims and ecovero.
Over the years the creative process at Schepperheyn has involved layering and manipulating different media, incorporating everything from food images, to old photographs of the creative director’s grandparents, to the pattern on her parents’ kitchen floor, or her own illustrations.
For the third time now Verena Schepperheyn took the photos herself, making sure the playful style of her brand endures.
