5 Spanish designers you should have heard of

Spanish fashion has a long-standing tradition of highest quality, rich materials and simple cuts. Up to today, some of Fashion’s most important brands come from Spanish heritage, the most prestigious one of them being Cristobal Balenciaga. We present you 5 of our favourite Spanish Designers you should definitely have heard of.

Roberto Verino

Founded in 1982, Roberta Verino has a long-standing tradition as one of Spain’s most remarkable ready-to-wear brands. After the first presentation in 1982, he opened his first boutique in Paris in 1983, making him the only Spanish designer next to Cristobal Balenciaga in the “Ville lumière”. With campaigns featuring supermodels like Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen and Jasmeen Ghauri, the label made it onto the international fashion Olymp. Up until today, he creates breathtakingly elegant pieces with a timeless elegance that embody the spirit of contemporary fashion design.

Bimba y Lola

Founded in 2005, Bimba Y Lola is one of the fastest growing fashion labels at the moment. In less than ten years, they have managed to establish themselves in every continent, recently expanding into France and the Middle East. Coming from a Fashion family, founders Uxia & Maria Dominguez, nieces of Adolfo Dominguez and daughters of Jesus Dominguez have been brought up with fashion from an early age on. Seeking inspiration in nature, art, film, friends and family, Bimba Y Lola’s signature patterns are exclusively created by the team of young talents in-house, explaining the outstanding unique aesthetics.

Uterqüe

Created in 2008 with the idea, of bringing the focus in today’s womenswear back to accessorizing, Uterqüe today stands for elegant and easy ready-to-wear fashion with a luxury feeling.
