To get it straight before getting to talk about the Anne Vest SS18 collection, yes, Denmark has summers. Yes, it goes above 20°C. And no, you do not need a fur coat in Copenhagen’s summer – but maybe a little Anne Vest fur poncho.
Anne Vest showed a playful and unusual Spring Summer collection with a range of flowing sheer coats with fur earrings to fur ponchos and ruffled trench coats. While it might be a cliché to say there is no summer in Scandinavia (there is sometimes), she showed a collection with a global focus and a very unique style. The biggest eye catcher was probably Sofia Sanoh strolling down the runway in the Hotel d’Anglettere in a crisp green sheer shirt and fitted pants.
